Those of you who follow me on Instagram may probably already know about my trip to Sardinia two weeks ago.
I’ve never been to Sardinia before, so I was super excited and happy to explore that wonderful island and its breathtaking nature. I have to say that it was even more beautiful than I could have dreamt about.
But let’s start from the beginning. We started on Friday morning in Munich to catch our flight to Olbia, which was, by the way, my worst flight ever! I don’t know, rough landings and turbulences – nothing for me! ;)
However, we arrived safely in Olbia and picked up a rental car to get to our hotel. I can highly recommend you to discover Sardinia by car, since there are so many beautiful places, beaches and villages to see.
After nearly one hour we arrived at our hotel and what can I say? That was the warmest welcome I’ve ever had. The staff was so friendly and courteous. I felt like home after only five minutes. Thank you so much again! :)
We arrived in the afternoon and even if it was cloudy and windy that day I fell in love with Sardinia and that beautiful hotel immediately. After a delicious welcome Prosecco we could move in to our room, which was absolutely amazing and super spacious for two persons. My personal highlight definitely was the rain shower with a little window with an amazing view over the sea.
We spent the rest of the evening with a delicious four-course-dinner and cocktails on our private terrace. Just perfect!
Waking up to that amazing view was priceless and so I decided to first have my morning coffee again on our terrace. Afterwards we shot some summerly outfits for you guys before we were craving for our first Italian breakfast, which was real food heaven!
Local cheeses, salami, prosciutto, bread, cakes and fruits…. And of course, not to forget, the best coffee in the world. ;)
What I liked the most was the girl playing the harp every morning. With that wonderful music around you, the amazing view over the sea and a delicious breakfast it’s quite easy to feel like in heaven, isn’t it?
Afterwards I loved spending some relaxing hours by the pool, sipping cocktails and just enjoying the wonderful view over Sardinia’s landscape. Next to the hotel’s beautiful pool area you can find wonderful sandy beaches and crystal clear water.
If you ever think about a trip to Sardinia I can highly recommend you the Capo D’Orso Thalasso & Spa Hotel. I just loved everything about it – the outstanding friendly staff, the delicious food, the wonderful rooms and last but not the least the stunning landscape around. Thank you, Sardinia! <3
