If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (ina_nuvo) you may already know I spent some amazing days on Mykonos last week.
We were invited to stay at the breathtakingly beautiful Myconian Imperial Hotel for 5 days – thank you so much, Mr. Daktylides and the whole team for having us. It was definitely my best holiday so far! :)
The Myconian Imperial Resort is one of the Myconian Collection Hotels and it’s located next to amazing “Elia Beach”, which is known as one of the most beautiful beaches on Mykonos.
The Myconian Imperial Resort and the Royal Myconian Resort, which is also located on the famous Elia Beach, are both proud members of the Leading Hotels of the World.
We were accommodated in one of their amazing Deluxe Double Rooms with a breathtaking view from our balcony over the Aegean Sea. I loved sitting on that balcony, sipping some delicious cocktails and just enjoy that unbelievably beautiful landscape. Within the next year all rooms are planned to be completely renovated. Even if I don’t know how it could become any better. ;)
It’s also possible to rent a Deluxe Double Room with your own jacuzzi, a private pool or if you want it super luxurious you can rent your own Villa. But I was totally fine with that spacious room. ;)
I loved sitting in that stylish lobby and having a view over the blue sea. There’s also a very nice bar in the lobby, where you can get everything from sparkling water, over cappuccino to the best strawberry daiquiri ever. :)
Do I have to say more, that “that view, guys!” ? Didn’t matter where I was in that amazing hotel, from everywhere I could see the different shades of blue of the Aegean Sea. I love waking up and the first thing I see, when I look out of my bed, is the beautiful sea. Nothing else needed. Ok maybe there is something else, which leads me to the next point…Food! ;)
Nothing better to start your day than with an extensive breakfast, am I right? The breakfast buffet at the Myconian Imperial Resort didn’t leave absolutely nothing to be desired.
I loved eating traditional greek yoghurt with honey and fresh fruits every morning. But of course you could also find various breads, cheese, sausages, marmalades, eggs, tomatoes and not to forget the best olives I ate in a long time. You could ask the staff about any ingredient, anytime, and they could tell you exactly where it came from. Everything offered at the buffet was organic, by the way. ;)
Every morning you could choose between fresh orange or strawberry juice. For me as a strawberry lover that was like heaven. Honestly! ;)
When you got hungry during the day you could find delicious snacks, such as club sandwiches, pizza or fresh fruit platters at the pool bar. I loved the very tasty and healthy salads.
When I’m on holidays I love to explore the country and see as much as possible outside the hotel area, but of course I also like to relax by the pool, reading a good book and drinking some fresh and delicious cocktails from time to time. As I already mentioned above I loved their strawberry daiquiri and you should also try the “Caramel Passion”.
At the Myconian Imperial Resort they have two big pools, one filled with freshwater and the other one with saltwater and an outdoor jacuzzi with just another breathtaking view over the sea.
As I already told you the Myconian Imperial Resort is located at famous Elia Beach, which is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches on Mykonos. I haven’t seen many other beaches there but I can tell you that Elia Beach is definitely worth to be visited. You’ll find a beautiful sand beach and crystal clear water. In early May of course the water is still kind of cold, but when I’m at the sea I have to go inside – and if it’s even for some minutes. :)
If you ever go to Mykonos I can highly recommend you to visit Elia Beach and think about a stay at one of the Myconian Collection Hotels to enjoy that wonderful view and super friendly service. Everyone was so kind and we felt more than welcome.
Did you plan your summer holidays already? Can’t wait to hear where you’re going to. :)
Next week I will tell you more about our stay on Mykonos – so stay tuned for a very personal travel diary!
